St. Bernadette’s Fifth Graders graduated from the DARE program on February 16th.  Students completed the program with the help of Evergreen Park Police Officer Alex Schulz.  Each student wrote an essay and a pledge to stay drug free.

Dare is a police-officer led series of classroom discussion that empowers students to resist peer pressure and live productive drug and violence-free lives.

St. Bernadette students Kaitlyn O’Connell and Marc Mondesir were also recipients of the DARE essay award!
